10 Questions with Ben
1. WHAT GOT YOU STARTED IN PHOTOGRAPHY?
My mum got me a camera for my 15th birthday. I didn’t expect her to get me a camera but she did. So I went out and started taking photos of random things until it started to become a hobby. Ever since then other photographers have inspired me to challenge myself and try new styles of photography, now it’s my career.
2. FEAR OF?
Snakes creep me out.
3. WHAT IS ON YOUR BUCKET LIST?
I really want to travel to Nepal. I want to hike up to the base camp of Mt Everest, & explore the alps in Kathmandu. Also I want to travel North & South America in a van!
4. LAST MOVIE YOU WATCHED?
James Bond Spectre.
5. IF YOU COULD LEARN ANYTHING, WHAT WOULD IT BE?
I would love to learn how to skydive, that would be epic!
6. EARLY BIRD OR NIGHT OWL?
I'm always up early in the morning to catch the golden glow but sometimes I’m out all night star gazing. So thats a tough one.
7. WHAT IS THE SCARIEST AND/OR HARDEST THING YOU'VE DONE?
Hardest thing to date would have to be hiking up Mount Roy at 3AM in the freezing cold to capture the sunrise. But it was well worth the hike!
8. SOMEONE YOU'D LIKE TO MEET?
Would have to be Chris Burkard.
9. FAVOURITE PLACE THAT YOU'VE TRAVELLED?
Would have to be New Zealand. It was an epic trip. I drove a van all around the South Island, everywhere I looked was so photogenic!
10. FAVOURITE QUOTE?
Life is about not knowing, having to change, taking in the moment and making the best of it, without knowing what’s going to happen next.
