Kurt grew up in a more suburban surrounding until he finished school and eventually moved to the city life in Brisbane where he resided for a few years working in the engineering industry. Kurt now lives on the Gold Coast surrounded by beaches and waterfalls, which is far more inspiring to him than the congestion of bigger cities.
Kurt had always been interested in design and art but had no real interest to pursue any of these disciplines as a full time career. That was until a few years ago when the urge to travel spurred into the urge and need to capture his surroundings. Kurt bought his first camera exactly two years ago to document his travels in Europe. Since then he has photographed many countries, brands, bands and humans. Kurt's love and knowledge for photography grows daily and pushes him to want more and widen his horizons.

1. WHAT GOT YOU STARTED IN PHOTOGRAPHY?
I had been taking a few photos on my iPhone 4 and noticed that I loved composition and light. I had a trip to Europe planned and really wanted to capture my travels so I invested in my very first camera exactly two years ago.
2. FAVOURITE PLACE THAT YOU'VE TRAVELLED?
Switzerland.
3. EARLY BIRD OR NIGHT OWL?
Night owl.
4. FEAR OF?
Heights.
5. WHAT IS ON YOUR BUCKET LIST?
To surf the Atlantic.
6. Last Movie You Watched?
Deadpool.
7. IF YOU COULD LEARN ANYTHING, WHAT WOULD IT BE?
To have the ability to build a camera.
8. WHAT IS THE SCARIEST AND/OR HARDEST THING YOU'VE DONE?
Probably the hardest thing I've done would be learning to snowboard without any lessons and just heading straight to the top of the mountain looking down and thinking... "Damn, it's a long way to the bottom".
